How to clean
- Clean the product on the same day after each use.
- Use kitchen detergent (for table or cookware).
- Use a soft sponge or cloth.
- Clean the product frequently to prevent odors.
Parts to wash after each use
- (B) Lid
- (F) Spout*
- (G) Body
- (I) Bottle boot*
* Remove and wash.
- Wash each part using a sponge and diluted detergent water or lukewarm water, and then thoroughly rinse with water.
- Wipe any droplets off with a dry cloth and dry the parts thoroughly.
Caution
- Do not soak the body or stopper part for a long time when there is a risk that water may get into the parts.
- After washing the body, immediately use a dry cloth to wipe off the moisture. If all droplets are not wiped off, they may leave water stains, cause rust, or stain other items.
- Do not use thinners, cleansers, bleaches, cleaning wipes, metallic scrubbing brushes, or nylon scrubbing brushes.
- Do not use a dishwasher or dish dryer, or wash with boiling water.
- Be sure to attach the spout.
- Do not use boiling water. (This does not apply to the inside of the body.)
- Dust adheres easily to the bottle boot. Do not rub them with a towel or similar material while they are wet. Press and wipe these items using a soft cloth.
- If the product will not be used for a long time, fully clean and dry it.
If stains appear inside the body
When red, rust-like spots or a substance
that is rough to the touch appears
Such stains can be caused by minerals in water, such as calcium, magnesium, and iron. When cleaning these substances, please use citric acid, which is available at supermarkets and drug stores.
- Dilute the citric acid (approximately 10 g) with lukewarm water, then pour it into the body.
- After 2 to 3 hours, wash the body with a soft brush and then thoroughly rinse it.
- Dry the body thoroughly.
Removing and attaching the spout
To remove
Push the hinge side slowly to remove.
Spout can not be removed, even if its front side is pushed.
To attach
- After fitting the front side of spout, set the hinge side.
- Make sure the spout is fixed.
