This product includes a safety valve in the lid, and the structure allows internal pressure produced by carbon dioxide gas to escape. The safety valve activates only when the internal pressure becomes abnormally high.
(C) Lid (J) Safety valve
Before use, press the safety valve in the lid with the handle of a spoon or other hard object and check that the safety valve moves up and down. If the safety valve is clogged and does not operate, the pressure inside the product body may increase. This may cause the lid to become stuck, the lid to become damaged and cause it to fly off, or the contents to spray out.
Check that the lid gasket and stopper gasket are attached to the stopper.
(A) Stopper
To improve the thermal retention performance, pour a small amount of hot/cold water into the body beforehand and let it sit for 1 or 2 minutes.
Discard the hot/cold water after preheating/precooling.
Pour your hot/cold beverage into the body.
To avoid adding too much beverage, add it only up to the position shown in the figure (slightly less than full).
When adding a carbonated beverage, add a carbonated beverage that was chilled in a refrigerator, and hold the product at an angle while pouring so that the beverage does not overflow.
If you will add ice to a carbonated beverage, be careful of foaming.
Do not put large cubes of ice. Use small cubes or crushed ice.
Be sure to wipe off any spillage on the outside of the body.
Due to the structure of the product, if a cold beverage is poured in, condensation may occur, and water droplets may form on the stopper.
Place the product in an upright position and turn the stopper to close it.
Turn the stopper as far as it will go to securely close it.
Check that the lid and spout are securely closed.
(A) Stopper (C) Lid (E) Spout
To drink, hold the body and the spout, and open the lid.
Open the lid slowly and carefully if the product contains a carbonated beverage because a hissing sound may be heard or foam may spray out when the lid is opened.
Do not tilt the product immediately after pouring in a hot beverage and closing the lid. Otherwise, the contents may leak.
(C) Lid (E) Spout
After drinking, return the product to an upright position and securely close the lid.
Securely tighten the lid until it does not turn any farther.

Caution
To prevent the lid from opening when carrying the product, do not expose the handle attached to the lid to excessive impacts.
When carrying by the lid handle, be careful not to turn the product in a direction that may cause the stopper to loosen or to subject the product to strong vibration or impact. Make sure that the stopper does not become loose. The body may fall off if the stopper is loosened.
Do not attach a metal fixture, string, or similar object to the handle attached to the lid and hang the product from something. The stopper may loosen, causing the body to fall.
To prevent the lid from opening when the product is in a bag, exercise caution to ensure that no items in the bag touch the handle attached to the lid.
When placing the product into a bag, place it standing up to prevent any possible leakage. Otherwise, the contents may leak.
