(C) Lid (J) Safety valve
Wipe the water off with a dry cloth and dry the parts thoroughly.
Caution
Do not soak the body, lid, or spout when cleaning them. (This does not apply to the gaskets.) There is a risk that water may enter the parts.
Be sure to attach the gaskets.
After washing the body, immediately use a dry cloth to wipe off the moisture. If all droplets are not wiped off, they may leave water stains, cause rust, or stain other items.
Do not use paint thinner, cleansers, bleach, cleaning wipes, metal scrubbing brushes, or nylon scrubbing brushes.
Do not wash with boiling water.
When inserting the product in a dishwasher or dish dryer, remove the lid and spout and be sure to place the lid with its handle facing up. There is a risk that water may remain inside the lid.
To prevent product deformation and discoloration, place it away from the heater when using a dishwasher or dish dryer.
If the product will not be used for a prolonged period, fully clean and dry it.
When there are red, rust-like spots or a substance that is rough to the touch
Such staining can be caused by minerals in water, such as calcium, magnesium, and iron. When cleaning these substances, it is recommended that you use citric acid, which is available at supermarkets and drug stores.
Dilute the citric acid (approximately 10 g) with lukewarm water, then pour it into the body.
After 2 to 3 hours have elapsed, wash the body with a soft brush and then thoroughly rinse it.
Depending on the beverage, the beverage odor may remain on the gasket. In this case, leave the gasket in boiling water for approximately 30 minutes to reduce the odor. If the odor is still a concern, please purchase a new gasket (sold separately). Click here to purchase consumable parts.
