Precautions for Use

Warning

  • Keep out of reach of children. Do not let children play with the product.
There is a risk of burns or injuries.

Caution

  • Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the product by yourself.
There is a risk of failure or accident.
Do not use the product for any purpose other than keeping beverages warm or cold for drinking.
There is a risk of accidentally drinking the contents or damaging the product.
  • Do not use the product if you can hear the sound of water from inside the vacuum double-layer structure (vacuum layer) of the main body.
If water in the vacuum layer seeps out, it may cause health problems if ingested. It will also reduce the thermal insulation performance, and there is a risk of burns if a hot beverage is put into the product.

  • Check that the gaskets are attached and that the beverage won't leak before use.
There is a risk that the contents may leak, causing burns or stains.
  • Attach only the parts intended for use with the product.
If any other parts are attached, there is a risk that the contents may leak, causing burns or stains.
  • Do not use if the heat retention performance has declined.
Hot beverages can make the product very hot, potentially causing burns.
  • Do not place the product near stoves, open flames, or other sources of extreme heat.
There is a risk of burns or deformation or discoloring of the product.
  • Do not heat the product in a microwave oven.
There is a risk of injury or failure due to sparks.
  • Do not put the product in a freezer.
Contents may leak or the product may be damaged.

There is a risk of damage to the product, reduction of its thermal retention performance, rusting, peeling of paint/printing/plating*, or leakage of contents.
    * Limited to products that have paint, printing, plating, or similar processing.
  • Do not remove the seal that is applied to the bottom of the product.
If it is removed, there is a risk of declined heat (cold) retention performance.
  • Do not scratch or rub the surface of the main body, plastic parts, or seals with fingernails or hard objects.
Doing so may cause damage and peeling.
  • Do not use the product in a moving vehicle.
This may result in burns or soiling of clothes or of vehicle interiors. Using the product while driving is very dangerous, as you may be distracted.

  • Do not put dry ice or carbonated beverages into the product.
Doing so is dangerous as the pressure inside the product may increase, causing the stopper and lid to become stuck, the contents to spray out, or parts to be damaged and fly off.
  • Do not put milk, dairy products, fruit juices, or similar beverages into the product.
The contents may decay or spoil. Leaving such beverages inside the product is dangerous, as they can create gases that raise the pressure inside the product as a result of decay or spoilage. This can cause the stopper and lid to become stuck, the contents to spray out, or the parts to break and fly off.
  • Do not put soups or beverages containing salt into the product.
The contents may decay or spoil, or the product may rust.
  • Do not put tea leaves or pieces of fruit in the product.
They may clog the spout, resulting in leakage of the contents.
  • Be sure to securely attach the stopper. (MCZ-D/E)
There is a risk that the contents may leak, causing burns or stains.
  • Be sure to securely attach the cup unit. Be sure to press the close button. (MCZ-D/F)
There is a risk that the contents may leak, causing burns or stains.

Precautions when Carrying the Product

Caution

  • Do not place the product in a bag when the exterior of the product is wet.
There is a risk of rust, odor, or stains.
  • Do not leave the product in a bag for a long time.
The surrounding environment (humidity, salt) may cause rust or odors.
  • Do not swing the product while holding the handle on the lid. (MCZ-D/E)
There is a risk of injury and/or product damage if the product hits a person or object.
  • When carrying by the lid handle, use caution not to turn the product in a direction that may cause the stopper to loosen, and not to subject the product to strong vibration or impact. (MCZ-D/E)
Doing so may cause the main body to fall off due to the loosened stopper.
  • Before using a can holder, check that it has sufficient strength.
If it does not have sufficient strength, the holder may become displaced or damaged, resulting in burns or staining clothes or the interior of the vehicle.
  • When using a commercially available can holder, use a stationary type.
If a hanging holder attached to the window or air conditioning outlet is used, it may come off. This may result in burns or staining of clothes or the interior of the vehicle.

Precautions when Drinking

Caution

  • Do not open the lid if the product is tilted or placed near your face when the product contains a hot beverage. (MCZ-D/E)
This may increase the inner pressure and cause beverage to come out suddenly or spray out. potentially causing burns.
  • Drink slowly and do not tilt the product abruptly when the product contains a hot beverage. (MCZ-D/E)
Do not tilt the product abruptly. The contents may come out suddenly, potentially causing burns.
  • Use the cup to drink any hot beverage. (MCZ-D/F)
Drinking a hot beverage directly from the main body may cause burns. (Due to thermal insulation, the outside of the product does not become hot even when filled with a hot beverage.)
  • When pouring the beverage into the cup, do not tilt the main body abruptly. (MCZ-D/F)
Do not tilt the product abruptly. This may cause the contents to come out suddenly, potentially causing burns.
  • After pouring, return the product to an upright position and press the close button 2 to 3 seconds later. Then attach the cup. (MCZ-D/F)
    Otherwise, the contents may leak.
  • Drink all of the beverage as soon as possible.
If a beverage is left inside for a prolonged period, gas may be produced by decay, increasing the pressure inside the main body. This may cause the stopper and lid to become stuck, or the contents to spray out.
There is also the danger that it may damage the stopper or the inner stopper and cause it or pieces of it to fly off.

Precautions when Cleaning

Caution

  • When the product contained a sports drink, be sure to clean the product immediately after use.
Even if you are out of the home and cannot clean it fully, immediately rinse out the inside of the product with water after use.
